Arsenal aren't interested in Jordan Pickford

Arsenal are one of several clubs linked with a move for the 23-year-old keeper, who had another exceptional game against the Gunners tonight, despite losing 2-0.

But Wenger thinks he has plenty of keepers on the books as it is, and isn't planning a move for Pickford any time soon.

“I think we had 36 shots on goal, which is the highest ever in the Premier League," he said after the game against the Black Cats.

“The keeper saved 11 of them so he did extremely well.

“We have plenty of goalkeepers.

“We have Petr Cech, we have Ospina, we have Wojciech, who is on loan at Roma and has had an exceptional season.

“We also have Emi Martinez. If there is one thing we don’t have to buy it’s a goalkeeper.”
